Christmas Tree Certifications: What Importers Actually Need

Certification questions kill more first deals than price does. Here is the honest map - and note that unlit trees are simple cargo: plastic needles, steel trunk, no electronics. The paperwork burden concentrates in lit trees and public-space use.

By market

MarketTypical asksNotes

The two families of tests

Tree body: material composition, heavy metals, flammability. Light set: ROHS/UL for the string, plug type per destination (we ship EU/UK/US/AU plugs), and burn-in before packing.

Our policy

Our factory holds global certification coverage; scan copies go to buyers with quotes, and per-batch test reports ride with shipments. For public-space projects we can produce flame-retardant-treated trees with the corresponding documentation - this is a common requirement from our hotel and mall clients.
